like to take this opportunity to tell you about myself.
I have been in private practice as a psychotherapist
and personal coach for over 20 years. During that time,
I have assisted individuals, couples and groups with
a wide variety of emotional issues. Presently, my work
has a specialized focus on adults and couples.
My goal is to provide a confidential, warm and caring
atmosphere within my office practice.
My philosophy is that within
life’s challenges are opportunities for growth
and healing. To this end, my practice includes an educational
approach that fosters self-discovery and empowerment. It is truly my passion to teach my clients the life
skills necessary to create satisfying and successful
lives.

with honors from Adelphi University, New York, where
I received my masters in clinical social work.
I am a Certified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization
and Reprocessing) Therapist, and have also completed

Over the last
twenty years, I have served as an adjunct professor
at Valencia College where I designed and taught continuing
education classes for mental health professionals.
In addition, I am a contributing author in a new book
for clinicians entitled, Eye
Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing: EMDR Scripted
Protocols. I have conducted
seminars and presentations in person and on radio for
large and small group audiences.
I have served on the advisory board for Conceive
Magazine, an
award winning lifestyle magazine for women, and for
five years, wrote the column, Emotionally Speaking.
